H2H Energy is pleased to announce the successful completion of pressure testing witness and sign-off activities for key sections of Woodside's Hydrogen Refueller @ H2Perth project in Western Australia.
The Hydrogen Refueller @ H2Perth is a self-contained hydrogen production, storage and refuelling facility currently under construction in the Rockingham Industrial Zone.
The project is designed to initially produce approximately 235kg of hydrogen per day, with future expansion potential to around 1,000kg per day, supporting hydrogen supply for heavy vehicles, passenger vehicles and hydrogen transport trailers.
H2H's involvement draws on extensive experience in hydrogen systems assurance, commissioning support and refuelling infrastructure. The company first worked with Woodside in 2018, supporting concept studies.
As part of the pressure testing scope, H2H provided independent witnessing and verification services, helping ensure hydrogen systems are commissioned in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements. These activities form an important part of the pathway toward safe and reliable operation of hydrogen infrastructure.
H2H's capabilities in this area are underpinned by its long history of operating hydrogen refuelling systems throughout Australia and New Zealand. The company remains one of the few organisations in the region with practical experience spanning hydrogen production, transport, storage and vehicle refuelling applications.
The project also reflects H2H's long-standing commitment to safety and compliance. H2H maintains competencies developed under the former Western Australian Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS)requirements for hydrogen facilities and previously applied these requirements during its involvement with the ATCO hydrogen refuelling project in Western Australia.
ATCO's facility at Jandakot was the state's first renewable hydrogen refuelling station and remains an important milestone in the development of Western Australia's hydrogen transport sector.
